Despite previous comments by users I feel are a little unfair, this film is one for fans of Basil Rathbone and the Sherlock Holmes series. Rathbone is THE Holmes and this is one of the best of the Universal releases of the period. Ok, the plot can be a little thin at times, all the bodies are identified using circumstancial evidence which wouldn't hold up in court, but be honest, when you watch the film for the first time, who do you think is responsible for the deaths of The Good Comrade...
